My name is Laura Harvey, I am completing my final year of graduate school at George Mason University for my M.A. in Art History. I graduated with a B.A. in History from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 with two minors, one in Latin and Roman Studies and the other in Art History. My areas of research are classical art and architecture, ancient trade networks, historic preservation, and neoclassical architecture. More recently I have become interested in early twentieth century illustration and, as a long time gamer, I have increasingly become interested in video game art and researching gender biases within marketing.

The purpose of this blog will be to analyze articles read during the course of the semester for HIST 696.
